Introduction

Frenzy Capital ("we," "us," or "our") operates a financial analytics platform that provides stock market data, options trading analytics, volatility tracking, and AI-powered market analysis tools. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we collect, use, and share your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit frenzycap.com or api.frenzycap.com, how we use that information, and your rights regarding your personal data.

Who We Are

Frenzy Capital is a financial analytics service provider located in the United States. We provide real-time and historical market data, technical analysis tools, options chain analytics, implied volatility rankings, and AI-generated market commentary powered by large language models.

Information We Collect

1. Account Information

When you create an account, we collect the following information directly from you:

  • Email address (required) — used for account authentication, verification, and service notifications
  • Password (required, unless you sign in with Google) — stored only in hashed form using the salted scrypt algorithm; the plaintext password is never stored or logged
  • First and last name (required; if you sign in with Google, we use the name Google shares with us)
  • Google account information (only if you choose “Sign in with Google”) — Google shares your name, your email address, whether Google has verified that address, and your Google account identifier with us. We use them to create your account or sign you in, and we store the Google account identifier to link your Google account to your Frenzy Capital account. We do not receive your Google password or access to any other Google data (such as your contacts, email or files). See “Google reCAPTCHA and Google Sign-In” below.
  • Where you signed up — which feature you came from when you created your account (for example, a price alert on a stock, or filing alerts for a fund), so our welcome email can pick up where you left off
  • Terms-of-service acceptance record — the version of our Terms you accepted and the timestamp of acceptance, retained as proof of consent
  • Email verification token — a transient single-use token generated during signup and used only to confirm account ownership
  • Account preferences — saved symbols, watchlists, and dashboard settings you configure within the platform
  • Alerts — the alerts you set up (the symbol, fund, investor or insider each one follows, its settings, and how it is delivered) and a 90-day record of the alerts we sent you
  • Browser notification subscriptions (optional) — if you turn on browser notifications, we store, for each browser you turn them on in: the delivery address your browser’s push service issues (a web address operated by Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft, depending on your browser), the encryption keys your browser creates so that only it can read our notifications, your browser’s user-agent string, and when the subscription was created and last used. We use these only to deliver the alerts you choose to receive as notifications

Fields marked required are necessary to create and secure your account; optional fields may be left blank.

Optional profile details. We no longer ask for a postal address or phone number when you sign up. You may add a postal address (street address, city, state and ZIP code) and a phone number to your profile in Account Settings; accounts created before October 6, 2026 may already have them from the old signup form. We store these details encrypted, use them only to identify and contact you about your account, and delete a detail as soon as you clear it in Account Settings.

Remembered devices. After you enter the emailed sign-in code you may choose “Remember this device for 30 days”. We then place a random device token in a cookie in that browser and store a one-way hash of it with the date, your browser’s user-agent and your IP address, so that password sign-ins from that browser can skip the emailed code for 30 days. The record is deleted automatically after 30 days, and immediately when you choose “Forget remembered devices” or “Sign out all other devices” in Account Settings, reset your password, or delete your account.

2. Usage and Analytics Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with our platform:

  • Page views and navigation - When you are signed in, we record each page you open on our site (the page address, page title, the referring page, the time, whether you are on a mobile or desktop device, and the sign-in session it belongs to), linked to your account. If you are not signed in, we record the same page-view information only after you accept analytics cookies, linked to a random visitor identifier rather than to your identity. We use this to understand how our tools are used, to show you your own session activity, and to protect accounts.
  • Aggregate traffic counts - Separately, we count every page view on our site in aggregate: the page address (without any query string), the referring website’s domain, your country, whether the device is mobile or desktop, and the date. These counts use no cookie and contain no identifier and no IP address (your country is derived from your IP address by our network provider, and only the country goes into the count), so a count cannot be linked to you or to your other visits. They run for every visitor, whatever your cookie choice, and we keep them indefinitely as site statistics.
  • Sign-in and security records - Each sign-in, two-factor verification, sign-out and session change on your account, with the IP address and browser used, plus a summary of your sign-in history and a list of your currently signed-in devices (visible to you under Account Settings)
  • Search queries - Stock symbols and tickers you search for
  • Feature usage - Which tools and analytics you use (options chains, volatility trackers, etc.)
  • Session data - Login times, session duration, and interaction patterns
  • Device and browser information - Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and device type
  • IP address and location - Your IP address and approximate geographic location
  • Referral source - How you found our site (search engines, direct visits, referral links)
  • Server access logs - Our web servers record standard HTTP access logs (IP address, timestamp, request path, user-agent, and referrer) for operational, security, and audit purposes under our legitimate interests
  • Public data endpoint rate limits - When you, or an AI assistant acting for you, call our public data endpoint for AI assistants (/api/mcp/public), we count requests against a one-way hash of the calling IP address to enforce rate limits. The counters hold no other information and expire automatically within 24 hours. We log the name of each tool called and how long it took, but not the questions or symbols asked about.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience and understand site usage:

  • Essential cookies - Required for login, authentication, and core functionality. Your sign-in cookie identifies your session, and the page views you make while signed in are recorded against that session. If you choose “Remember this device” at sign-in, a remembered-device cookie (fc_trusted) holding a random token is kept for 30 days so you can skip the emailed sign-in code (see “Remembered devices” above).
  • Visitor cookie - A first-party cookie containing a random identifier, used to remember recently viewed symbols and, if you have accepted analytics cookies, to group your page views while you are not signed in. It expires after 30 days. It follows your analytics choice on the cookie banner: in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it is set only if you accept analytics cookies; elsewhere it is set by default unless you choose “Reject”. Rejecting later deletes the cookie and your recently viewed list.
  • Analytics cookies - Used by Google Analytics and by our own first-party page-view measurement to track site usage and performance. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google Analytics runs only if you accept analytics cookies; elsewhere it runs by default, and you can turn it off with “Reject” on the cookie banner or in Privacy Settings. Our own page-view measurement for visitors who are not signed in runs only if you accept analytics cookies, wherever you are (page views recorded to your own account while you are signed in, and the cookie-free aggregate traffic counts, are described above).
  • Advertising cookies - Placed by Google AdSense to show relevant advertisements
  • Session storage - Temporary data stored locally for the duration of your session
  • Logged-out watchlist - If you add tickers to the homepage watchlist without signing in, the list is kept only in your browser's localStorage (key fc|anon-watchlist) and is not sent to us. When you sign in or create an account, it is copied to your account's watchlist and removed from your browser.

Advertising & Cookies (Google AdSense)

We display ads served by Google AdSense and other third-party ad technology providers. These partners may use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to deliver, measure, and personalize ads.

  • Third‑party cookies – Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and/or other sites.
  • Personalized vs. non‑personalized ads – In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask for your consent through Google’s consent message before ads are personalized. Elsewhere, ads may be personalized unless you opt out: choose “Reject” on our cookie banner, turn off advertising in Privacy Settings, use our Do Not Sell/Share page, or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. Any of these switches Google AdSense to non‑personalized ads in that browser. You can change your choice at any time with the controls described below.
  • DART cookie – Google’s advertising cookie(s) may enable interest‑based ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings or at the DAA Consumer Choices page.
  • Ad Technology Providers – To learn how Google uses information from sites and apps, see Google’s partner sites policy.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling certain cookies may limit site functionality.

Consent Management Platform

Which consent tool you see depends on where you are. Your region is determined from your IP address.

  • European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland — we use Google’s consent message, a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) that follows the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework and Google Consent Mode v2. Analytics cookies stay off and ads are not personalized until you consent in that message. Google’s tool stores your choices in its own cookies on our site.
  • Everywhere else — we use our own cookie banner, integrated with Google Consent Mode v2. Google Analytics is on by default until you reject it, and Google AdSense may show personalized ads until you opt out (“Reject”, turning off advertising in Privacy Settings, the Do Not Sell/Share page, or a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser).
  • Categories managed — Necessary (always on), Analytics, Advertising, and a Do Not Sell or Share flag for California residents
  • Consent storage — your choice is persisted in your browser's localStorage under the key cmpConsent so the banner does not re-appear on every visit, and mirrored in a first-party cookie (fc_consent, kept for one year) so our servers can honor it. Where Google’s consent message is used, we copy only your analytics choice from it into these two places.
  • Changing your choice — the “Privacy Settings” link in the site footer re-opens Google’s consent message (EEA, UK and Switzerland) or our privacy settings (elsewhere), so you can update or withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing

4. Financial Data You View

We log which stocks, options, and market data you view to improve our recommendations and analytics. This includes:

  • Stock symbols and tickers you search for or view
  • Options chains and volatility data you access
  • Charts and technical indicators you generate
  • AI market analysis requests you make

Google User Data

This section describes how Frenzy Capital accesses, uses, stores, shares and deletes data we receive from Google when you choose “Sign in with Google”. Signing in with Google is optional; you can always create an account with an email address and password instead.

  • Data we access. We request only Google’s basic sign-in scopes (openid, email and profile). From these we receive your name, your email address, whether Google has verified that email address, and your Google account identifier. We do not request or receive access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, Google Calendar or any other Google service or data, and we never receive your Google password.
  • How we use it. We use this data only to create your Frenzy Capital account or sign you in to it, to link your Google account to that account so later sign-ins reach the same account, and to show your name in Account Settings. We do not use Google user data for advertising, for profiling, or to train or improve artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
  • How we store it. Your name and email address are stored encrypted in our account database. Your Google account identifier is stored alongside your account record so we can recognise you on later sign-ins. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest (see “Data Storage and Security” below).
  • Sharing. We do not sell, rent, share or transfer Google user data to any third party, including advertisers, data brokers and AI providers. It is not sent to the advertising or analytics services described in this policy.
  • Retention and deletion. We keep this data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in Account Settings, which permanently deletes your Google-derived data along with the rest of your account; you can also ask us to delete it by emailing privacy@frenzycap.com. You can revoke Frenzy Capital’s access to your Google account at any time in your Google Account settings.

Frenzy Capital’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Operating and maintaining the Frenzy Capital platform
  • Authenticating your account and managing your sessions
  • Delivering real-time market data, options analytics, and volatility tracking
  • Generating AI-powered market analysis and insights
  • Personalizing your experience based on your preferences and usage patterns
  • Optimizing site performance and fixing technical issues

2. Analytics and Research

  • Understanding how users interact with our platform
  • Identifying popular features and areas for improvement
  • Analyzing market data trends and user behavior patterns
  • Training and improving our AI market analysis models

3. Communication

  • Responding to your questions, feedback, and support requests
  • Sending the alerts you set up, by email and, where you turn them on, as browser notifications
  • Sending a short weekly note by email to account holders: a recap of the market week and, if you keep a watchlist, upcoming events and filings for the symbols on it. You can turn it off with the link in every note or in Account Settings
  • Sending a few getting-started emails in your first three weeks after signup (a welcome, a suggestion for one alert to set if you haven't set any, and a last check-in if you haven't been back). They use only what you set up yourself: where you signed up, your watchlist, your alerts and whether browser notifications are on. You can turn them off with the link in each one or in Account Settings
  • Sending important service updates and security notifications
  • Notifying you of significant platform changes or new features

4. Security and Compliance

  • Protecting against fraud, abuse, and security threats
  • Monitoring for suspicious activity and unauthorized access
  • Complying with legal obligations and regulatory requirements
  • Enforcing our Terms and Conditions

Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data under the following legal bases: (i) contract (to provide the services you request), (ii) legitimate interests (to secure and improve our services, prevent fraud, and understand usage), and (iii) consent (for non‑essential cookies and personalized advertising where required). You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

We use several third-party services that may collect and process your data:

1. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic and user behavior. Google Analytics collects information such as page views, session duration, geographic location, device type, and referral sources. This data is anonymized and aggregated.

2. Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on our site. Google AdSense uses cookies to show ads based on your prior visits to our website and other websites on the internet. These ads help us keep the platform free for users.

How AdSense Works:

  • Google uses cookies to track your browsing activity across websites
  • This information is used to show you personalized advertisements
  • Ad partners may collect information about your device, location, and interests
  • You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time

Publisher Policies: We adhere to Google Publisher Policies and require users not to engage in invalid click activity, ad scraping, or interference with ad serving.

3. Google reCAPTCHA and Google Sign-In

We use Google reCAPTCHA to protect our registration, login, contact, password reset, and email verification forms from automated abuse. When you load a page that uses reCAPTCHA, Google collects information about your interaction with the page (including IP address, mouse movement, device characteristics, and browser behavior) to generate a risk score that tells us whether the request is likely from a human or a bot.

Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Google Terms of Service.

Our login and registration pages also offer “Sign in with Google”, which loads Google’s sign-in button from accounts.google.com. Google may collect information about your browser and your Google session to show the button. If you use it, Google asks you to confirm and then sends us a signed token containing your name, email address, email verification status and Google account identifier, which we verify with Google’s public keys and use only as described under “Account Information” above. You can remove Frenzy Capital’s access at any time in your Google Account settings; this does not delete your Frenzy Capital account (you can do that in Account Settings).

If you are not signed in, other pages on our site may also show Google’s one-tap sign-in prompt (“Sign in to frenzycap.com with google.com”). Your browser draws this prompt itself, and only in browsers that support it (such as Chrome and Edge). To offer it, those pages load Google’s sign-in script from accounts.google.com, and your browser checks with Google whether you have a Google session. We receive nothing unless you choose to continue, in which case Google sends us the same signed token described above; if there is no Frenzy Capital account for that Google address yet, we ask you to agree to our Terms before one is created. We do not show this prompt, or load Google’s sign-in script for it, for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland. You can close the prompt whenever it appears, or turn it off for every site in your browser’s site settings (in Chrome, “Third-party sign-in”).

4. Cloudflare

Our site is delivered through Cloudflare, a reverse proxy and content delivery network. This means every request you make to frenzycap.com first passes through Cloudflare's global edge network before reaching our origin servers. As part of providing this service, Cloudflare:

  • Receives your IP address, request URL, user-agent, and other HTTP headers in order to route and cache the response
  • Sets bot-management cookies such as __cf_bm and, in some challenge scenarios, cf_clearance, to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse
  • Caches static assets (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images) at the edge to improve performance and resilience

Cloudflare acts as a data processor on our behalf. Learn more in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

5. Third-Party Content Delivery Networks

To keep page loads fast and reduce bandwidth costs, we load common front-end libraries from public CDNs rather than self-hosting them. When your browser fetches an asset from one of these CDNs, the CDN operator receives standard HTTP request metadata (IP address, user-agent, and referrer) solely to serve the requested file; they do not receive any of your account information.

We note specifically that Google Fonts is loaded from Google-operated domains (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) and has been the subject of regulatory guidance in the European Union. If you prefer not to load assets from third-party CDNs, browser extensions such as uBlock Origin or LocalCDN can block or redirect these requests, though doing so may affect site appearance.

6. Market Data Providers

We obtain financial data from third-party providers. When you view market data on our platform, your requests may be logged by these providers in accordance with their privacy policies.

7. Database Services

We use industry-standard databases to store user accounts, preferences, and application data. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and processed in accordance with industry-standard security practices.

8. AI Analysis Services (Anthropic)

Our AI-generated market commentary and ticker analyses are written by Claude, a large language model provided by Anthropic, PBC, through Anthropic’s API. To generate an analysis, our servers send Anthropic market information only: ticker symbols, prices and technical indicators, options and volatility statistics, earnings dates, screener results, and the headlines and short summaries of related news articles.

No personal user data is sent to Anthropic or to any other AI service. These requests come from our servers, not from your browser, and do not include your name, email address, IP address or any other account information, or your watchlists, saved strategies, positions or notes. Each analysis is generated for a ticker or a market screen, not for a particular user, and the same stored analysis is shown to everyone who views it.

Our trade idea and options strategy tools do not send your positions or notes to any AI service. Instead, they can build a prompt for you to copy into an AI assistant of your choice; anything you paste there is governed by that service’s privacy policy.

If you connect your own Claude account to Frenzy Capital from Account Settings, Claude can request quotes, options chains, options activity and technical indicators from us on your behalf. Those requests return market data only, never your account information. Your conversations with Claude are governed by Anthropic’s privacy policy.

9. Browser Push Services

If you turn on browser notifications, each alert notification is sent from our servers to the push service run by your browser’s maker (Google for Chrome and Edge, Mozilla for Firefox, Apple for Safari, Microsoft for older versions of Edge), which passes it to your browser. The notification is encrypted with keys that only your browser holds, so the push service cannot read its content; it does see the delivery address, the time and the size of each message. Turning notifications off in Account Settings deletes the subscription from our servers; you can also block notifications for our site in your browser settings at any time. Subscriptions that a push service reports as expired are deleted automatically.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

Frenzy Capital does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. Your email address, account information, and usage data remain confidential and are only used as described in this policy.

Data Storage and Security

Where We Store Your Data

Your data is stored on secure servers located in the United States. We use redundant database infrastructure with regular backups to ensure data availability and integrity.

Security Measures

  • Encryption - All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL (HTTPS)
  • Password protection - Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with strong salting
  • Access controls - Database access is restricted to authorized personnel only
  • Monitoring - We monitor for suspicious activity and security threats
  • Regular updates - We keep our software and dependencies up to date with security patches
  • Breach notification - In the event of a personal data breach that creates a material risk to your rights, we will notify affected users and applicable regulators within the timeframes required by law

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain data for legal or regulatory purposes.

  • Page views and sign-in records linked to your account are kept for as long as your account exists and are deleted when your account is deleted.
  • Records of failed sign-in attempts are kept for 180 days.
  • Signed-in session records expire 30 days after sign-in, or after 35 days without activity.
  • Page views from visitors who are not signed in (collected only with analytics consent) are linked to a random visitor identifier, not to your name or email. Withdrawing consent in Privacy Settings stops further collection.
  • Web server access logs are kept for approximately 14 days.

Usage logs and analytics data may be retained in anonymized form for research and improvement purposes.

Your Privacy Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

1. Access and Portability

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. We will provide this in a structured, machine-readable format (JSON or CSV).

2. Correction

You can update your account information at any time through your account settings. If you need assistance, contact us at privacy@frenzycap.com.

3. Deletion

You can delete your account from Account Settings or request deletion by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your profile, sign-in history and session records, the page views recorded to your account, saved strategies and portfolio history, alerts and alert history, browser notification subscriptions, the record of weekly notes and getting-started emails we sent you and their open counts, API keys, and any connected-app authorizations. We will honor deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

4. Opt-Out of Marketing

We send account holders a short weekly note by email, and new account holders up to three getting-started emails in their first three weeks. Every one has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can turn each kind off or back on at any time under Notifications in Account Settings. Turning them off does not affect the alerts you set up or service and security emails. Each of these emails contains a tiny image that tells us when it was opened: we record which email was opened, how many times and when, and nothing else (not your IP address or device). If your email app blocks images, we don't see opens. We keep a record of which of these emails we sent you, and what was personal in them (such as the watchlist lines or the symbol you signed up for), so we can answer questions about a note and stop duplicate sends; it is deleted with your account. We do not send other marketing emails; if we introduce any, you will be able to opt out of them too.

5. Cookie Controls

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may limit certain site features.

6. Opt‑Out of Personalized Advertising

You can opt out of personalized ads from Google via Google Ads Settings and more broadly through the DAA Consumer Choices page (or DAAC in Canada and YourOnlineChoices in the EU).

7. Right to Correct

You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you (California Civil Code §1798.106 for California residents; GDPR Article 16 for EEA/UK residents). You can update most account fields yourself from your account settings page, or email privacy@frenzycap.com for assistance.

8. Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information

Under the California Privacy Rights Act (§1798.121), California residents have the right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information. We treat your account login credentials (email address combined with your password) as sensitive personal information and use them only to authenticate the account holder — never for profiling, targeted advertising, or inferring characteristics about you. Because we do not use sensitive personal information for any secondary purpose, no additional opt-out is required, but you may confirm this by contacting us.

Verifying Your Identity Before We Respond

To protect your account from unauthorized access, we may ask you to verify your identity (for example, by confirming account ownership from your registered email address) before fulfilling an access, correction, deletion, or opt-out request. We will not use information you provide for verification for any other purpose, and we will not share it with third parties.

California Residents (CPRA)

California residents have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising. Google AdSense may use cookies to personalize the ads on our site, which can count as “sharing”. To opt out, use our Do Not Sell/Share page, choose “Reject” on the cookie banner, or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we treat as an opt-out. Any of these switches AdSense to non‑personalized ads in that browser. You can also email privacy@frenzycap.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”. We will honor your request as required by law.

California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

  • Right to know what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold
  • Right to delete personal information held by us
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information (see §7 above)
  • Right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information (see §8 above)
  • Right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share your data for cross-context behavioral advertising outside the scope described under §California Residents (CPRA) above)
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

Categories of personal information we collect (CCPA §1798.140). In the twelve months preceding the effective date above, we have collected or may collect the following statutory categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers — name, email address, postal address and phone number (only if you add them to your profile, or provided them at signup before October 6, 2026), Google account identifier (only if you sign in with Google), IP address, account identifiers
  • Customer records information (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.80(e)) — account credentials collected at registration, and name, address and phone number where you have provided them
  • Commercial information — saved symbols, watchlists, dashboard settings, and product-feature usage history
  • Internet or other electronic network activity — pages viewed, search queries, clickstream data, referrer URLs, session duration, and interactions with our tools
  • Geolocation data — approximate location derived from IP address only; we do not collect precise (GPS-level) geolocation
