How this market resolves

This market will resolve according to the national team that wins the 2026 FIFA World Cup. If at any point it becomes impossible for this team to win the FIFA World Cup based on the rules of FIFA (e.g., they are eliminated in the knockout stage), this market will resolve immediately to “No”. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup is permanently canceled or has not been completed by October 13, 2026, 11:59 PM this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source will be official information from FIFA, however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

AI analysis

The prediction market for Ivory Coast winning the 2026 FIFA World Cup indicates a low probability of occurrence, with a current YES price of 0.01 implying a 1% chance. This assessment is informed by known facts about Ivory Coast's performance in international football competitions and their standing among other teams vying for the championship. The market's current pricing reflects the perceived likelihood of Ivory Coast emerging victorious based on available information up to the market's closing date of July 20, 2026. Any significant changes to Ivory Coast's team dynamics, injuries, or performance in the tournament would likely impact the YES price, potentially driving it higher if their chances of winning improve or lower if their prospects decline. Conversely, a decrease in the YES price could result from increased competition or setbacks for Ivory Coast during the tournament.
